GlobalEd’s Physician Assistant Clinical Rotation Program in Seville, Spain, offers a transformative one-month experience for aspiring and practicing PAs alike. The program combines cultural immersion with professional development, featuring 80 hours of clinical exposure tailored to meet the needs of future PAs, those fulfilling clinical rotation requirements, and PAs seeking to specialize in a focused area. Aspiring PAs will engage in structured rotations three days a week and participate in hands-on PA training one day a week, while practicing PAs will receive more intensive training tailored to their track. With flexible housing options, cultural activities, and bilingual support, this program offers a unique opportunity to expand your skills and gain a global perspective on healthcare. No prior Spanish language knowledge is required.

Clinical Rotations

Under the guidance of experienced preceptors, the Physician Assistant Clinical Rotation Program provides 80 hours of immersive training in diverse medical specialties, such as surgery, emergency medicine, and acquired brain injuries. Aspiring PAs will gain exposure to clinical practice through regular hospital rotations and focused training sessions, while practicing PAs will refine essential skills, including patient evaluation, diagnostic testing, treatment planning, and surgical assistance. Each rotation is carefully tailored to meet the learning objectives of participants, offering valuable insights into Spain’s healthcare system and fostering cultural competence and inter-professional collaboration.

Physician Assistant Professional Track

Designed for professionals with 3-5 years of experience looking to transition between specialties within the PA sector. Whether the shift is from pediatrics to cardiology or another field, this Track provides focused training and experiences in the desired specialty, enabling a smooth and knowledgeable transition.

Current Physician Assistant Student Track

This Track is tailored for current PA students needing to fulfill clinical hours. Participants will engage in 20 hours per week of clinical rotations across various medical disciplines for four weeks. This approach ensures a well-rounded understanding of different specialties, crucial for future versatility and skill in the field.

Pre-Physician Assistant Student Track

Geared towards undergraduate students aspiring to enter PA schools, this Track offers a blend of hospital rotation experiences and PA-specific elements to enhance their application strength and career clarity. The curriculum respects the limitations of pre-PA students while ensuring substantial exposure to healthcare environments.
