GlobalEd’s Semester Work and Study: Seville Program offers a Tourism and Hospitality Track for those students interested in focusing their academic and work experience in the area of hospitality or tourism. The Work and Study program provides a full study abroad experience including: airport pickup and program orientation, fulltime enrollment at EUSA where you’ll take courses in English or Spanish to satisfy home school credits, housing options, activities and excursions, comprehensive medical insurance. GlobalEd’s Tourism and Hospitality Track requires students to choose from a selection of related courses, as well as, have the option to perform an internship of up to 120 hours of work in the field. Our Track programs are designed to increase your employability in the field, develop your self-awareness and teamwork skills through Myers Briggs training, and teach you how to market these experiences in a resume. This is a semester program where program participants will be enrolled as full time students. As part of the Tourism and Hospitality Track. Students will take a full course load of four or five courses in either English or Spanish offered by EUSA from the available course list. In order to specialize in the Tourism and Hospitality Track, students must take a minimum of three courses offered by the tourism department.

The University Campus EUSA is considered one of Seville, Spain’s most modern learning environments. Located in the heart of Seville, capital of Andalusia, this institution forms part of the University of Seville and has been offering undergraduate degrees in Tourism and Hospitality, Advertising, Journalism, and Audiovisual Communication and since 1961. Currently, more than twenty different nationalities form part of this global campus including Spanish, English, German, Norwegian, and American students. This institution fosters cultural exchange and coexistence among young people around the world.



GlobalEd’s mission is to help its program participants develop marketable skills and increase their employability for when they set out in their careers. As part of our commitment to this mission, GlobalEd has created a series of professional development sessions designed to empower students using world renowned Myers Briggs training to increase self-awareness, interact more effectively with people from different cultures, work more effectively in teams and to become a more successful leader. GlobalEd uses in-house certified MBTI practitioners to work with students to increase their cognitive awareness of personality type and to help them develop procedural knowledge of how to implement the tool sometimes bathmate throughout their study abroad program and their careers.


Housing is a key element to the success of any study abroad experience. As a program participant you will have the option to live in a self-catered apartment with locals and other international students, or upgrade to a local family and receive a full meal plan (3 meals per day, 7 days per week), laundry and cleaning service. Living with a local family is a wonderful opportunity to improve your Spanish language skills and expose you to the local foods and customs. ALL housing options have full WIFI access.

Student life

Both GlobalEd and EUSA will provide you with numerous opportunities to explore the city, get to know your surroundings and meet locals through cultural activities, walking tours of the city, visiting museums and local monuments. We will also assist you to get a local “intercambio” or language exchange partner, which is the best way to immerse yourself in the local culture.

Trips and Excursions

This program typically includes excursions to the cities of Cordoba (day trip), Granada (overnight) and the Roman ruins of Italica (day trip). However, excursion destinations and travel dates may vary from term to term. Aside from programmed excursions, students often join other international students on independent trips offered by local travel companies. Examples of such excursions are:
